What in GODS Name Is Going Wrong In This Country
June 13th, 2008I swear to god every morning I wake up and read the news and I feel like I have somehow been transported back into 1930s Germany, or into some form of Superman’s bizzaro world and I just HAVE to ask, what the HELL is going on in this country!
Let’s just take a brief tour around some of the news just today:
Ft. Lauderdale, FL: Cops pull over speeding vehicle with a man bleeding to death in the back, refuse medical help and hold the vehicle while they check wants and warrants until the man dies!
Columbia South Carolina: Police arrest 7 people accused of inappropriate cheering at high school graduations.
But My personal favorite is PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTIVE: “BIOMETRICS FOR IDENTIFICATION AND SCREENING TO ENHANCE NATIONAL SECURITY”:
You see big brother is alive and well and he is becoming as scary as anything you ever read in Orwell’s 1984. On June 5, 2008, just 7 days ago NSPD 59 (HSPD 24) entitled Biometrics for Identification and Screening to Enhance National Security was ‘issued’ by the White House with no approval of congress, no senate vote, not one ounce of oversight by any governing body besides our old buddy GW Bush and his cronies. This directive recommends the collection and storage of “associated biographic” information about US citizens for anything the government considers “questionable activity” and, once again, they have worded the law so vaguely that it can be interpreted just about any way they want!
As the article mentions some of the verbiage suggests people in labor unions, antiwar groups or civil rights groups could very well be targeted by these laws and put under surveillence for the simple fact they are participating in legal, constitutionally protected activities! In all honesty I could very well be targeted just for writing this blog as I am questioning their right to do any of these things.
Folks, we had better wake up DAMN quick and I’m not talking next month or after the election, this government has taken our once great nation to the brink of a police state and we still have quite some time before we can get these bastards out of office. This ‘gestapo’ mentality is tricking down from the White House to the State governments and into our police forces and it seems to be getting worse by the day! Its time to stand up and so NO MORE, to start throwing any politician or police officer out of their job the very first time they show this kind of behavior because if we don’t this great nation will look just like what we had under Stalin, Hitler and Mussolini!
