The Theft Of America Has Begun
September 21st, 2008Well unless you are living in a cave you now know what I have been talking about for quite some time is happening, the financial mess of all time has begun. Now what none of us expected was Washington jumping in to save all their Wall street buddies asses but sure enough the big contributions and ass kissing our government has gotten from the banks over the past 10 or so years has obviously paid off in spades. Once again our government has shown they care more about big money and big business than they do about you and I. Their proposed $700 billion bailout of Wall street added to the purchase of AIG, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Bear Sterns now stands to be in the $1.5 trillion dollar range and that’s before they even open the poison books for these newly acquired companies. For all we know that number could double, triple or be even uglier!
Folks this has got to stop and if you have any self respect left, any pride in your country left it is time to get up off your asses and tell Washington NO WAY, NO HOW and NOT WITH MY MONEY! I have drafted this letter that you can copy and paste in an email to your representatives and I implore you to take the 5 or 10 minutes to do it. YOUR money is being stolen by a government so corrupted by pay offs and lobbyists that they feel your hard work is a piggy bank! Tell Congress and Washington NOT WITH MY MONEY YOU DON’T!

I can NOT protest loudly enough about this bail out of Wall Street now on the table. This is outright theft of money from the American taxpayer! I for one have studied economics for years and saw this coming over a year ago, what I did not expect was the stupidity this current government is now pulling!
Taking on debts from companies that gambled and won BIG for over a decade and now whine like children when they have losses is just plain unacceptable. What about the billions they made over the years? What about the insane salaries the company’s CEOs have made? When I make a financial mistake I PAY FOR IT so how can this government justify this bail out?
Lastly someone down there in Washington needs to start paying attention to what will happen once these trillions of dollars of ‘new money’ are created and flood the markets. The dollar will become the joke of national currencies causing inflation and costing the taxpayers even more of their hard earned money. People on the verge of losing everything will be pushed off a cliff while big bankers celebrate.
I will be watching the voting on this bailout closely and I intend to vote against any of my representatives that vote for this bill. I also intend to alert anyone and everyone I know to the dangers of this mess and who voted for it!
Either Washington wakes up and realizes they serve US and not big corporations the sooner this country and get back on track. Washington’s backing of big business at the expense of the working man MUST STOP!
